Privacy
A small site with limited data collection.
This website uses limited, aggregate analytics and processes additional information only when you choose to send a message or save a preference on your device.
Aggregate website analytics
This site uses GoatCounter to understand which pages are visited and how the site is used in aggregate. GoatCounter reports information such as page paths, referrers, browser and system categories, approximate country, language, and screen width. It does not store IP addresses, full browser identifiers, cookies, or persistent tracking identifiers.
Read GoatCounter’s privacy documentation for details about how the service processes and stores analytics data.
Contact messages
If you use the contact form, your name, email address, and message are processed by Web3Forms and delivered to Jonathan O’Hara so he can read and respond to your enquiry. Do not include confidential, legally privileged, medical, financial, or other sensitive information.
You can ask Jonathan to delete a contact message by contacting him through the same form or through LinkedIn.
Information kept on your device
The site follows your device’s light or dark setting by default. If you choose light or dark mode manually, that choice is stored in your browser. Returning to Device mode removes the saved choice. On long articles, the site can also save a reading position. The interactive research prototypes keep their demonstration data in your browser and do not send it anywhere. You can remove this information by clearing site data in your browser.
External links
Links to papers, organisations, LinkedIn, Evaltron, and other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices.
